Casella is a splendid stone farmhouse situated in enchanting hills with extensive views of a broad valley and the glorious landscape of Tuscany and Umbria. The fenced garden surrounding the farmhouse and its annex, is abundant in olive trees and herb bushes and blends in perfectly combination with the delightful countryside. Set in the grounds sloping down from the house is the swimming pool, the annex, situated in front the pool close to the pool house. With ample and superior quality garden furniture, the pool also boasts a room equipped for cold buffet catering. It also has shower rooms, which are very convenient whist you are enjoying the outdoor life. The interior of the farmhouse is tastefully decorated, with great attention to detail. Casella is only a short distance from the picturesque village of Preggio, with a general store and “trattorie”, serving typical regional dishes. Casella is reached via a good gravel road of approximately 200 metres.

It is also possible to organize Yoga lessons and Taichi Qi Gong lessons for 120 Euro per lesson for the whole group that will partecipate. Ballon ride for 300 Euro per person (min. 2 people), take-off points are Lake Trasimeno, Assisi or Todi.

no pets allowed. We guarantee that if you book only the main villa the annex won't be occupied. The whole property has room for 16 people, however the property owners allow an occupancy of maximum 14 people. If you book the property with 10 people you can choose between the main villa, with the annex or with the guest house.

excellent The villa was lovely. The grounds were beautiful and well-maintained. Angelo (caretaker) and Fanni (housekeeper and cook) were friendly and helpful and the owners even called a few times to make sure everything was alright. The pictures on the website really do not do it justice.

very good Hi Sonia We had a wonderful time at Casella. The farmhouse is so pretty, covered in flowers with lovely outside eating areas. The infinity pool is beautiful with stunning views across the Umbrian countryside & the pool area is very well furnished. There is a great cubby house which our small children enjoyed playing in. The region is very beautiful although the house is fairly remote. Although a stone’s throw from Preggio which has basic supplies, it is half an hour’s drive to the nearest town with supermarket, bank etc. We had a wonderfully relaxing time though. Regards Anne

excellent Beautiful location, very comfortable with all amenities. Garden and poll well maintained. Castello Rigone was the best closets town for shopping. Close to Assisi which is a must to visit. Local restaurant were excellent. Your service was exceptional, always someone pleasant on the other end of the phone ready to please. I enjoyed dealing with the ‘girls’.

excellent Sonia, We LOVED the villa and the entire experience. Fanni (the cook) was wonderful and the two meals she prepared were to die for. All ten of us wanted to take her home with us! Pasquale (the caretaker) and Angelo (the gardener) were very helpful and friendly. The grounds were beautiful and the web site pictures don’t do it justice. See the attached pictures, one with all ten of us. The villas location was perfect for all our day trips and the little town of Preggio was a charming place with very friendly people. We were very surprised with the fine quality of the local restaurant, La Castagna, its food, décor and the family that owned it.
