The impressive entrance to the Villa, with electric gates leading up to it, is an explosion of colour along the short drive to the residence, lined with bougainvilleas. The well-groomed garden is on two levels, with a variety of plants and many geraniums, creating a pleasant shady area, equipped with comfortable garden furniture. The beautiful view of the Sorrentine coastline, with the sea only a few hundred metres away, can be admired from all the bedrooms and lounge area. The unusually shaped swimming pool has the same wonderful views from the lower level garden. The property has a portico with table and benches for ‘al fresco’ meals. Villa Sereni is well-situated for visiting the coastline and the islands. Sorrento, where the boats leave for Capri and Ischia, and where the ‘Circumvesuviana’ train for Pompei leaves from, is only 3 km away. A bar, newsagent and grocery shop are only 100 metres away.
