Situated in the city centre of Rome, Balconi apartment is on the fifth floor of a noble palazzo dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries on a beautiful small square with a central fountain in a historical neighbourhood. From here, one can walk to all of Rome’s most famous sites. The nearby Campo dè Fiori, a square with a bustling morning market, right in the heart of the ancient Jewish quarter with its narrow, cobblestone streets is lined with small family-run shops in addition to four ancient temples. The Pantheon and Piazza Navona are each about 5 minutes walk away and the Capitoline Museums with splendid views from the Capitoline Hill, and the Roman and Imperial Forums are maybe 7 minutes away. Walking south from the apartment one quickly reaches the Tiber River and crosses over the island Tiberina and into the enchanting area known as Trastevere with its narrow alleys, artisan shops, and restaurants.
