Carpi is situated just 10 minutes from Orvieto and 60 minutes from the main Rome to Florence motorway. The villa’s character reflects the owner’s taste for the traditional and for the history of colonial-style houses. The antique fireplace and staircase give you a sense of the history of the house, and take you back to a time when the property was occupied by a family of farmers.
The house is large and there is independent access to the exterior of the property from a number of rooms. The living areas are elegantly and rustically furnished, the bedrooms are traditional and simple and the bathrooms are simple and tasteful.
From the billiard room, there is direct access to the garden which has a stunning view, ample open space and a shady area created by age-old trees complete with tables and chairs.
A few metres from the farm-house there is a leafy tunnel adorned with white roses, which leads to the heated swimming pool. The pool is an excellent length for swimmers and there is a pool house next to an arbour.
Surrounding the farm-house is a garden and a cultivated field of 5,5 private hectares, the guest house is attached to the main villa with an indoor and outdoor entrance. A gravel road of about 250 mts leading to the villa is in excellent condition.

Massages at the villa: Californian massage, relaxing massage, aromatherapic massage, Shiatsu, Raichi massage - the cost for 1 hour is 120 Euros to pay directly on site. It is also possible to organize Yoga lessons and Taichi Qi Gong lessons for 120 Euro per lesson for the whole group that will partecipate. Ballon ride for 300 Euro per person (min. 2 people), take-off points are Lake Trasimeno, Assisi or Todi.

no pets allowed. Occasionally, when the wind blows in the direction of the villa, it may be possible to faintly hear noises of work in progress from the local quarry. Clients can choose among the 8 bedrooms.

excellent

Our stay at Villa Carpi was fantastic! We even had the excitement of a Tornado in the second week would you believe! (Incidentally, Patrizio the caretaker was superb, and his response to the tornado nothing short of heroic)...

We will be looking in Italy again – not certain yet as to which region...
