An attic like this is not easy to find in the heart of Rome. Situated in a residential area, the penthouse is close to Via Veneto and Piazza del Popolo is just 20 min away on foot. The gorgeous and exceptionally large terrace (about 200sqm) commands a 270-degree view over Rome and offers a glimpse of St Peter’s in the distance. On the terrace, in addition to a swimming pool, there is an outside barbeque/fireplace, a table for eating under the stars and an arbour offering shade and a hammock. The penthouse is in a building which faces onto an attractive park shaded by ancient trees, which protects the residential area from the usual traffic and noise of city life. The house is ideal for a honeymooning couple; it is extremely well kept and tastefully decorated. There is a small kitchen, a living room with fireplace which is illuminated by the enormous floor-ceiling windows covering two walls, and a second terrace providing a perfect place to enjoy the city panorama. The bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath. excellent I came back Sunday, after a week in Tuscany! Our stay at Rome was amazing and the penthouse was exactly what we expected! I talked with the owner Riccarda on the phone when I arrived who has been very friendly and the caretaker Mario as well. It was perfect! |
