Arriving at the summit of this beautiful, private 280 acre estate, gives the impression of reaching the point closest to the sky in Umbria. Five stone farmhouses can be found in this beautiful countryside setting, immersed between fields and woods. Set in different areas on the estate, each one of these houses enjoys absolute privacy and a stupendous view. The charming owners, an English speaking couple, live in the one set at the highest point and are always available to assist guests during their stay.
Calesa together with Cataccio are two very similar, comfortable toddler-friendly villas with private swimming pool, and can be rented by two groups of friends that love to have a holiday together in separate houses but wish to be out of sight and sound of each other.
Calesa is particularly suitable for families with children, equipped with a games room and close to the games field and an artificial grass tennis court for clients use. Divided into a main villa and guest house just a few metres from each other, Calesa is equipped with two outdoor dining areas: one from the kitchen with a table for breakfast protected from the sun by a large umbrella and a portico above the pool which has a table for up to 12 people. Inside, the farmhouse is on two levels plus a basement with games room and laundry room. All the rooms are elegantly furnished and the owner’s attention to detail with regards to comfort is much appreciated in the sitting room.
Privacy, space, peace and silence are assured. The 12x6 mts swimming pool is situated below the house and is overlooked by a pleasant dining terrace, with tables and chairs and barbeque. Just below the pool is the horse’s paddock and beyond are breathtaking views of the mountains around.

restaurant 3km/2miles without leaving the estate, grocery shop 6km/3miles, supermarket, shops, other restaurants, bank, all 9km/5miles in Umbertide, golf course 12km/7,5miles. Massages at the villa: Californian massage, relaxing massage, aromatherapic massage, Shiatsu, Raichi massage - the cost for 1 hour is 120 Euros to pay directly on site. It is also possible to organize Yoga lessons and Taichi Qi Gong lessons for 120 Euro per lesson for the whole group that will partecipate. Ballon ride for 300 Euro per person (min. 2 people), take-off points are Lake Trasimeno, Assisi or Todi.

excellent My husband and I rented this villa for 2 weeks (for our 30th anniversary) and had a fabulous experience. The first week was with our family and the second with our close friends. The amenities were exactly what we needed. The view was breathtaking. And the location made you feel like it was total paradise. It is up a long winding road, but worth the time and effort in driving there. In fact that may me the only minor limitation to this villa (if I had to find something). For us it made the place even more special. In addition the owners live in another home on the land. As a result they were able to assist us in any needs we had and worked with our schedule the entire time when cleaning the villa and doing the outside maintenance. We hope everyone who rents this, is able to enjoy it as much as we did.

very good Thanks. Had a terrific holiday. Calesa is a superb venue. The house/pool area is fabulous and the view out of this world. Tony and Ann were superb hosts - completely inobtrusive but there in case you needed anything. Hope to return in future.

very good A great house in a beautiful location. Stunning views from the house and pool. Were well looked after by the owners. Would have been good to have known in advance about the bath robes, hair-dryers and insect screens on the windows as these were much appreciated. A few minor niggles : worn sheets, insufficient cups and cobwebs but did not detract from holiday at all.
