Villa Ariete is situated on the cliffs of Ansedonia, a famous seaside location on a small rocky headland, which faces onto the clear waters of the gulf of Argentario. The villa sits in beautiful gardens of 5000 sqm (5980 yards) which are completely fenced, shaded by trees and typical Mediterranean plants and adorned with flower beds carved into the rock.
The ample car park can accommodate up to 12 cars and in one part of the garden is a brick built play house for children. On each side the villa has total privacy. The interior of this luxury villa is very light and airy, elegantly furnished and enriched with valuable antique pieces in the internal portico and in some of the rooms.
The large windows allow a sea view from every room in the living areas. From the large terraces on various levels and all the surrounding garden one can enjoy an extraordinary view over the Argentario promontory and the islands of the Tuscan archipelago. Villa Ariete is also equipped with private steps to the sea carved into the rock, a large sunbathing deck at sea level and a jetty for mooring boats.The large sea water swimming pool is also situated on the rocks and offers the same great panorama, it is equipped with changing rooms and a pergola with table and chairs for lunch and barbeques.
Monte Argentario is a municipality (comune) and a peninsula belonging to the Province of Grosseto in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 150 km south of Florence and about 35 km south of Grosseto. The peninsula is connected with the mainland by three dams which form two lagoons, the Laguna di Ponente on the west side and the Laguna di Levante on the east side of the middle dam. Porto Ercole, is one of the two main centres in the comune of Monte Argentario.
The two main villages on Monte Argentario are Porto Santo Stefano, facing north, and Porto Ercole facing south. The panoramic road Strada panoramica starts in Porto Santo Stefano allowing splendid views of the coast and the Tuscan Archipelago. Monte Argentario borders the comune of Orbetello, which is located on the middle dam between the two lagoons.
