The farmhouse has been beautifully restored and is surrounded by a splendid garden in which the planting is in perfect harmony with the surrounding countryside.
The rooms are all spacious, the bathrooms are in excellent condition and all the bedrooms have a view over the Tuscan hills. In particular, Fontanella has lovely living areas where it is possible to read undisturbed by the rest of the group. The indoor furnishings of the villa are elegant, with a lovely mixture of Asian and Italian antiques. The kitchen is well equipped, with all the necessary domestic appliances and utensils for cooking lovers.
For lovers of nature and healthy eating a vegetable garden is at clients disposal, together with a kitchen garden rich with aromatic herbs. Two external patio areas offer the possibility to eat outdoors, enjoying the view, from two different sides of the surrounding landscape. Large sun umbrellas offer the necessary shade; a barbecue and a wood oven can be found on the patio area off the dining room.
The swimming pool is about 50 metres from the villa and is long enough to swim comfortably. The pool is furnished with wooden sun beds and sun umbrellas.

ground floor
entrance hall, very large living room divided into 3 areas: dining area (table for 10), double sitting area with a central fireplace and library area with various French windows opening onto the garden. From the sitting area direct exit to the outdoor courtyard furnished with table and shadowed by umbrellas and wood-burning oven. Kitchen with fireplace and with French window opening onto the garden and a breakfast outdoor area, storage and laundry room, 1 bathroom with bathtub and hand held shower, tv room.

mezzanine floor
(middle floor, also with independent access) sitting room with very large windows, library, studio, 1 double bedroom with 1 bathroom with shower.

first floor
all the rooms have wooden floors. Hall, 1 double bedroom with 1 bathroom with bathtub and hand held shower, 1 twin bedroom (convertible into a double bedroom) with en suite bathroom with shower, 1 master double bedroom with en suite bathroom with bathtub, shower and double basin.

staff

live-in housekeeper 4 hours per day 6 days per week, gardener (housekeeper and gardener live in separate part of the house and respect your privacy).

excellent Our villa (Fontanella)experience was fabulous. The accommodations were great and we were right in the center of Tuscany. Needless to say we consumed large quantities of food and wine. Our first meal prepared by Mrs.Fosca at the villa on our arrival was the best. She grilled an assortment of meats with fresh grilled vegetables, homemade raviolis (to die for), and the best tiramisu we\\\'ve ever had. We made friends with the owners of the neighborhood restaurant (Cacciatore\\\'s) on our arrival and it turned out to be our watering hole on our return to the villa each evening. We had a great experience with our tour guide, Dario Castagno. He\\\'s great and is very knowledgeable of the area.
