The most striking feature of Villa Monti is its fabulous scenic setting. Perched on a hilltop in the rolling countryside near Todi, it enjoys a stunning 360° view of the surrounding arable land and distant valleys. This traditional stone farmhouse has been luxuriously furnished with impressive antiques in keeping with its stone walls and archways and its wooden-beamed ceilings. The panelled walls and the graceful staircase make wood a key feature throughout the house. There is also a room decorated with an Arabian theme, full of rich colours and textures. A fence surrounds the beautiful gardens to ensure your privacy. At the back of the house there is a large verandah where you can relax and take in the glorious views or you may prefer to take a dip in the swimming pool. The verandah is furnished and makes the ideal place to lounge on the sofas or to dine. The villa is easily accessible from the road via a short stretch of well-maintained gravel track.

French windows lead out onto the verandah/outdoor dining area from the living room and also from the kitchen. The verandah dining area is equipped with its own tables and chairs and the swimming pool is situated just 50 metres away.

excellent Thank you for the follow up e-mail. We had a lovely time in Italy. We were truly impressed with the location, view, furnishings, size, quality, service etc. of VillaMonti. It is a very special place. Massimo, the man who greeted us upon arrival was very very nice and helpful. He took us to the supermarket and even told us his favorite wine to try which we loved.He also arranged for a private cook one night which was a great experience. Our daily maid service by Josephina was also great. She was lovely and although I was not sure how I would feel about having someone in my space every day, she was unobtrusive and it felt comfortable having her in the house. The house and garden is very well cared for and the view spectacular. Overall though we loved it. Also the guide book with local attractions etc. was excellent. We found it very helpful particularly for restaurants. We went to Fattoria De Vibio twice and it was lovely. I understand it is owned by the sister and brother-in-law of the Home In Italy owner and coincidently the same family as the second villa we rented Also Restaurant Umbria in Todi which was also fantastic and we would not have known about otherwise.
