Castellina is a very large villa situated between Spoleto and Assisi, 3 kms from the characteristic town of Trevi.
Originally a convent built around the 1600s, the villa is situated in a hilly position from where it dominates the vast plains that reach as far as Assisi which can be admired in the distance.
Castellina consists of a main house, with its arched balcony, and two guest houses, one of them separated by steps leading to a lovely garden and to the courtyard at the back; the other guest house is separated by a courtyard with antique terracotta stones enriched by various flowers, from where there is also access to the main villa.
Antique walls enclose the back part of the villa making this property unique in its structure.
Large well-maintained lawns, completely fenced in surround the house with its ancient olive groves and fruit trees.
Inside the villa there is a large living area with glass doors that look out onto the garden.
The furnishings are a combination of antiques in the main house with a more simple style in the bedrooms of the guest annexes.

It is also possible to organize Yoga lessons and Taichi Qi Gong lessons for 120 Euro per lesson for the whole group that will partecipate. Ballon ride for 300 Euro per person (min. 2 people), take-off points are Lake Trasimeno, Assisi or Todi.

excellent Dear Claudia and Lesley. Our client just returned from a week at Villa Castellina. Everybody had a fabulous time and Sra Giulianita was wonderful! We cannot thank you enough for all the help you gave us in making their vacation completely perfect.

very good Hello, We found Castellina to be a beautiful house and a wonderful location. The surroundings are unique and the daily life was as easy as one could want it to be when on vacations with four children. The children were very happy with the big swimming pool, spending 10 hours a day in and around it. The ping pong table was a good surprise. General equipment was of very good standard and generous e.g the poolside full kitchen (despite a problem, quickly fixed, with a refrigerator). Furniture is of good taste, with some very nice cottage/old convent pieces. The garden is beautifully arranged and we could draw on the homegrown fruits and vegetables. The lady in charge of house keeping is nice, efficient and also, a very good cook.

very good The stay was really good but one week is too short. Comments. Accommodation very good especially the facility by the pool.Kitchen ok, a little dated especially the fridge and no barbeque utensils. All rooms very spacious and well furnished although very little protection against mosquitoes ie window/door screens. Great pool. Cleaner very nice and friendly,Lovely gardens/peaceful Overall a lovely family home and we had a really relaxing time.Cheers Steve.

very good My family and I were absolutely delighted with our holiday - the villaCastellina was perfect, the pool fabulous and our only regret was not being able to stay for much longer.I very much hope that we can return to Castellina and would certainly reccommend it to anyone wanting the perfect holiday in Italy.Your staff were so friendly and helpful and made booking our holiday so easy - especially as it was very last minute!
