After extensive renovation, this medieval building, part of which dates back to the 13th century, has re-acquired all of its original splendour. Situated on a hill overlooking the Mugello valleys you can enjoy the stunning views and can even see the mountains of Abetone in the far distance.
Only 35 kms from Florence, this elegant villa consists of a main house and an adjacent guest house. Both boast lovely wooden beamed ceilings and terracotta floors, the rooms are furnished with some beautiful antique pieces. The beautiful garden and well kept lawns are the perfect setting for the pool.
A wonderful way to spend a day at Casa Dei Frati is simply to relax by the pool.

excellent The stay in Mugello was a wonderful experience. The only thing is that the house is dark and there are not enough lights. I like to read in bed but it was almost impossible to do so. The other problem is with the directions you sent. The house is called La terra dei frati and we could not find it under casa dei frati. The cleaning lady was extremely helpful (Sandra) as well as Federico. The viewvs from the house are astonishing. I would without any doubts recommend your company.
