Orazio is one of the few luxury villas on Lake Como, Italy, with a private pool that enjoys a stunning lake view of almost 180 degrees. Located, about half an hour from Como, this exclusive Italian vacation rental home is positioned in a hilly area overlooking the road along the lake which leads to Lenno.
This villa has an important story from an architectural point of view. Built in the 40s, Orazio is a rare example of a ‘rational’ home, the name by which the first modern villas were built. For this reason, the villa has been classified as a historical monument by the Italian Cultural Heritage.
Nowadays Orazio is a beautiful villa recently renovated and furnished in order to spend your holidays in one of the most beautiful places in Italy.
The villa, completely fenced in, consists of a central body, the main villa, which accommodates up to 10 people. The garden is divided into an area at the same level as the villa and an area at a lower level where the pool has been built, overlooking the lake.
Extensive outdoor spaces are the prelude to the bright and spacious areas which create the rooms. On the ground floor, the windows have no curtains, in order to keep the beautiful image of the lake setting. A triumphal staircase leads to the first floor where you find the bedrooms, four of them with lake view and access to the terrace. In the basement, there is a spa with whirlpool bath, sauna, Turkish bath. In another room, there is a TV and a table football table.
Near the villa, there is a guest house where the staff will stay who will be present, showing great respect for your privacy.
The strategic location of Orazio, easily accessible by land or by boat and located only twenty kilometres from the highway, makes this villa an ideal solution for those who want to reach the villa from the airport of Milan with relative ease. It is an easy walk to the nearest village. There is the possibility to hear a bit of noise coming from the street while being in the garden.
