Thanks to a careful renovation, this storied Italian home with a view over a vast area of lake Como, is now a luxury vacation villa for rent equipped with a swimming pool, air conditioning, gym, and an outdoor pool with a hydro-massage system.
Villa Sorriso, built during the early 1900s as a holiday home of a countess, is perched in a rocky area, on the Eastern side of Lake Como, in the village called Moltrasio, where other neighbours’ houses are set.
The property is distributed onto five levels: from the garage, an internal elevator leads to level one where there are the gym and the spa, then to level two to the outdoor swimming pool and finally up till level three where you arrive at the 1.000 square meters, a fenced-in garden which leads to the entrance of the villa. Besides Villa Sorriso, the property includes also a guest house that is not in use.
The three-level villa has four bedrooms in total. The dining room is adorned with original stuccos and an 18th-century fireplace in white Carrara marble. Window panes in liberty style, Art Deco windows and stuccos give the house a romantic atmosphere. The entire property, including all outdoor spaces, is equipped with Wi-Fi, a multi-room audio system, garden audio and pool audio, which can be managed from smartphones and from the computer.

Privacy is limited in the swimming pool area. An electricity pole partially blocks the view from the villa. Pets are not allowed. Non smoking villa.
