Villa Angioletto boasts a strategic position as the highway entrance is at a thirteen-kilometre distance. From there, it will be easy to reach Florence, the capital of the Renaissance in about one hour and ten minutes, or Pisa in about forty-five minutes. If you like to take full day trips, you can easily reach Cinque Terre. Forte dei Marmi, a summer playground on the Tuscan coast known for its beach clubs and nightlife is also within an easy drive, about sixty kilometres away. The airports are located at a reasonable distance: Pisa airport is at a fifty-two-kilometer distance, while Florence airport is about fifty-nine kilometres away from the villa.

Villa location: Great! It was a perfect location with regards to privacy and seclusion. Grocery store was only 10 minutes away. Lucca was 15 minutes, which was amazing.

In general, do you prefer to have the check-in day possible at any day of the week? If so, which one:
We checked in on Saturday so that worked well for us, but I would assume some flexibility would be helpful when booking flights as it is a little trickier now. No preference per say on days..

Comments: This was a trip that we had booked to celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniversary.. Two years later. It was a big trip and we wanted it to be very special for them. And it was. Tanya had arranged for flowers to be sent during our celebration dinner! Which was a lovely added touch! There were a few issues with the air conditioning when we arrived. The owner, Tanya and Christina dealt with quickly and efficiently.
Both Lucrezia and Serena were amazing to deal with! I gave them many lists of reservations and issues with food allergies and they were able to arrange each restaurant and reservation beautifully. Even on the fly! with such care and grace. They were both easily reachable during our trip, at all hours! I so appreciated that! I look forward to working with "Home in Italy" for our next adventure! Won't deal with anyone else."

"We feel that words alone cannot describe how wonderful our one-week stay at Angioletto was. We wish it could have been two weeks! We stayed in August time so unsurprisingly the weather was perfect.
The villa has been refurbished to the highest standard and by someone who has a fantastic eye for design detail, it is just stunning. You could spend an entire day wandering around admiring the beautiful spaces or the artwork on the walls throughout. And that is even before you look out the windows and realize every single window has a wonderful Tuscan mountain view!
Having four small children in tow meant that the swimming pool was an important feature for us. The villa’s pool had, without a doubt, the most perfect shallow end. It meant even our smallest child could paddle around to his heart's content without losing his footing or the water getting too deep. The pool then gets a bit deeper for the more confident swimmers. Inflatables and safely float jackets were also provided.
The villa’s host (Michelangelo) was absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Things were organized in seconds. He also had a brilliant team around him making sure we had the villa cleaned once a day and an amazing private chef cooking for us in the villa whenever we wanted it. As a side note: the chef (Tamara) also teaches cooking!
We will definitely be returning to Angioletto as soon as we can! I can’t recommend it enough for both families with smaller/older children and just groups of adults."
