The villa has been recently renovated to an exceptionally high standard, providing elegant rooms with accurate style, quality upholstery, and a fine sense of colour. In particular, the rooms, as well as most of the bathrooms are quite spacious ensuring the utmost comfort.
On the ground floor, most of the living rooms boast door windows opening onto the garden.
The kitchen is particularly large and well-connected to one of the two outdoor lake-view dining areas.
The fenced-in garden surrounding the property borders the garden of a 3-bedroom villa set on a hillside at about 20 meters from Nido Zen. Between the two villas, total privacy is ensured in most of the garden areas, including where the swimming pool and the dining areas are located.
Privacy is only slightly compromised in the backside of the house, where the parking area is set.
All around the property olive trees shining under the light of the sun adorn the bucolic hills of Umbria with a golden flair.
Lake Trasimeno, the fourth largest lake in Italy, is a real paradise for both nature enthusiasts and gourmands alike: woods, vineyards, and olive groves surround the shallow lake. When staying at Nido Zen, we recommend visiting the uninhabited island of Polvese, which serves as a public park and features a restaurant, a coffee shop, and ruins of an antique castle. There are plenty of other sites of interest around the lake such as Castiglione del Lago, a medieval fairy-tale small town that sits on the southwest corner of the lake boasting the impressive Fortress of the Lion, a 13th-century castle built on a limestone promontory dominating the lake.
Nido Zen is conveniently located on the east side of Trasimeno Lake, just a few kilometers from the highway that connects the lake to Perugia on the south and Tuscany in the direction of the north.
