Samoiedo, set in the Perugia area, near the Tuscany border, is a lovely 16th-century farmhouse converted into a luxury large villa for vacation rentals, at a very short distance from the Antognolla 18-hole championship golf club. It lies on a top hill position, affording spectacular views across the valley and the golf course.
This villa is part of one of the most exclusive private country estates in Italy. Located in the very heart of the Umbria region, this estate is renowned for its thousands of hectares of immaculate woods and for its championship golf club.
The estate consists of several luxury private villas, all of them matching the modern comfort with the traditional style, each one with its own garden, swimming pool and stunning views over the valley. All the villas offer a 5-star service: is possible to organize private dinners, cooking lessons, wine tastings, beauty treatments and massages.
The beautiful main villa, one apartment and one separate cottage by the pool offer seven en-suite bedrooms and two children’s bedrooms, accommodating up to eighteen guests.

"A tranquil setting to enjoy family and friends while taking In the beauty of Italy. Our stay at Samoiedo was amazing! Erika, Namal and the staff were very attentive, providing recommendations and a variety of services during the stay. This was our second experience on the estate as we had the pleasure of staying at Carlino in 2012. Both properties are furnished with all the amenities of home. Samoiedo has a full size refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher and microwave. The gardens are beautiful. It is difficult to describe the magic of waking to a cup of coffee taking in the scent of lavender as you watch hundreds of white butterflies dancing from plant to plant. In the morning and evening we hiked the trails exploring the the estate including villa ruins, the golf course and Monte Tezio. For those in good cardio conditioning there is much to explore on the grounds outside of the gated villa properties. The group we travelled with included 14 guests. Dining under the pergola, sipping cocktails poolside, and exploring the small villages in Umbria and Tuscany provided a full itinerary for the week. I will highlight a few of the services coordinated during our stay. The bus and driver services from Rome, to destinations including Orvieto , Cortona, Montepulciano , Perugia and Florence were punctual, convenient and comfortable. The groups favourite experience was truffle hunting with guide dogs Pepo and Houston. The truffle tasting and Prosecco toast were “delicious -o”. Erika assisted with dinner reservations at Aquacheta in Montepulciano which was voted the best T-bone the group had ever experienced . During our stay we noticed many modifications to the villa amenities and services offered by Murlo, the properties continue to be maintained in a superior fashion and the extensive service list makes it easy to relax and enjoy all that the heart of Italy has to offer.
