The island of Capri
Rising like a mirage from the Bay of Naples, Capri is a myth that endures over time. The merit is of that aura of “delicious quiet”, so dared by Dickens, of his fashionable life and of his illustrious guests. The authenticity of the island has seduced everyone, from Emperor Tiberio to Margherita di Savoia, from Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis to international stars like Beyoncé. There is the city of Capri with its elegant shops on the shopping triangle made up of the Piazzetta, starting from Via Camerelle and continuing on via le Botteghe. The leisurely stroll then continues to Via Tragara, where there is the luxurious Hotel Punta Tragara with a view of the Faraglioni. And after discovering the scenic wonders of the island, the next step is to taste the local delicacies. Ideal places for refreshment are the Le Grottelle restaurant, made out of some rock caves and with a beautiful terrace on Punta Campanella, and Da Luigi ai Faraglioni, for a feast of fish. To enjoy a breathtaking view there is the restaurant of the historic beach resort La Canzone del Mare, while the Lido del Faro serves excellent aperitifs!

When life gives you lemons…
…sip a glass of Limoncello! This is by definition the most iconic sweet liqueur, uniquely made with Limoni di Sorrento I.G.P, a symbol of pride and authenticity for the whole island for its unmistakable flavour and vibrant colour. Sorrento is brimming with typical shops and local stalls selling lemon liqueurs, but lemons are so good raw they can be eaten like bananas or oranges, simply peeled and cut into slices. For a memorable aperitif with an enchanting marina view, enjoy a Lemon Spritz: this revisited version of the famous Venetian drink with Limoncello and lemon slices beats even the classic Aperol with oranges!

Getting some vitamin sea in Marina di Praia
Set on the lower part of Praiano between two rock ridges, Marina di Praia is one of the most famous beaches along the coastline. With a natural frame, this beach will enchant every savvy traveller at sunset with a spectacular view and golden colours over the sea.
A sky full of colours in Procida
Just a short ferry ride from Naples will bring refined travellers at the discovery of a little vibrant village, a symbol of the coast for its colourful houses and for being a cinematographic set during the 90’s. Its narrow streets and charming marina can be admired as the idyllic background of many masterpieces, from The postman directed in 1994 by Michael Radford and Massimo Troisi to The Talent of Mr. Ripley starring Matt Damon and Jude Law. Procida is also famous for its uncommon and energetic architecture brightened by numerous shades of pink, yellow, orange and so on! According to the local tradition, these peculiar painted-walls were useful for the fishermen to identify their houses even from their boats and find their way back home.

Hiking the path of the Gods
To refresh after a glass of Limoncello and the tasty sweets of the Amalfi coast, enjoy a full day of trekking along an ancient and mysterious road called ‘Sentiero degli Dei’, The Path of the Gods. This name is totally worth it with a truly divine landscape and the up-in-the-clouds views that accompany this well-marked trail. Heading inland, and going up to the hills which overlook the sea, savvy travellers will discover narrow streets traced by farmers and traders, between lemon groves and vegetable gardens.
